Originally from the UK, I’ve been practicing dentistry since 2012 and have proudly called Cromwell home since 2015. With a strong passion for Oral Surgery, I offer a wide range of treatments, including fillings, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, and implant restorative work.

My background in general dentistry, combined with a commitment to providing high-quality emergency care, allows me to deliver thoughtful and effective treatment designed to put patients at ease and bring a smile to their faces.

In 2019, I took ownership of Cromwell Dental Centre and began investing in state-of-the-art equipment to enhance both patient care and staff experience. In 2025, we proudly expanded into our new building, allowing us to broaden our services and better serve the needs of our growing community.

My goal has always been to provide the highest standard of personalized care, tailored to each patient's individual needs and budget. I strive to exceed expectations through every aspect of our dental service and performance.

As the practice owner, I’m dedicated to fostering an environment built on honesty, trust, and transparency. It’s important to me that every patient feels confident in our care—knowing that we understand their medical history, concerns, and goals, and are here to support them before, during, and after treatment.

BDS

I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dunedin. Since then, I’ve been fully committed to expanding my knowledge and skills to provide the best care for my patients. I’m passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry, ensuring that I offer the highest standard of treatment possible.

What drives me in my profession is the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives through their oral health. I truly believe that a healthy smile can positively impact overall well-being and confidence. I aim to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where my patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns, and where they leave knowing they’ve received quality care.

When I’m not in the clinic, I’m often out in nature, whether it’s rock climbing or exploring the outdoors. I find that maintaining an active lifestyle helps me stay focused and energized, which directly benefits the care I provide to my patients. For me, dentistry is not just about treating teeth—it’s about treating people holistically and helping them achieve both a healthy mouth and a happy life.

BDSc (Hons) WA 

I moved to Cromwell in 2019 seeking a lifestyle change—trading the heat of Perth, where I grew up, for the beauty of the mountains and lakes. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made, both personally and professionally.

After graduating from the University of Western Australia in 2004, I’ve worked in private practice for many years, including running my own practice for seven. I’ve also had the privilege of being a Clinical Consultant and mentor to final-year dental students at the OralHealth Centre of Western Australia, something I found incredibly rewarding.

I believe a smile is one of a person’s greatest assets, which is why I have a real passion forcosmetic dentistry. I particularly enjoy working with conservative composite veneers andsmile rejuvenations, as well as crown and veneer ceramics and implant dentistry. I also complete a wide range of root canal treatments. My approach is always to work with patientsas partners in their care—reassuring, educating, and empowering them to feel confident about their oral health.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find me out enjoying the Central Otago landscape - dayhiking, biking, kayaking, or camping with my family. I also love cooking, photography, and getting creative with art projects at home, especially during the cooler months.

Hi, I'm Annabel and I'm proud to be part of the Cromwell community. My family and I made the move here a few years ago, and we’re loving everything about the lifestyle and the people. With a young daughter of my own, I know how important it is to feel at ease—especially when it comes to dental care.

I graduated from the University of Otago in Dunedin, and since then, I’ve been passionate about creating a calm, caring environment where patients of all ages can feel comfortable. Whether it’s your first check-up or you're coming in for more complex care, my focus is always on building trust and making your experience as relaxed as possible.

I particularly enjoy restorative dentistry—there’s something really satisfying about helping people regain both function and confidence in their smiles. From fillings to crowns and more comprehensive treatments, I love working with patients to find the best solutions that suit their needs and lifestyle.

Hygienist

I graduated as a Dental Hygienist in 2007 in Dunedin after moving from Auckland with my family.

My passion is working with people to help educate, maintain and treat gum disease. With over 10 years experience I work well with nervous patients and I endeavor to treat every patient how I would want to be treated, in a positive, caring and relaxed environment and giving them the best optimal oral care. I love being in the health profession, working one on one with patients and making sure they leave the practice having a positive experience.
